Application Process and Internship Roster
The ILO opens its Internship Roster twice a year, usually in April and October. When applications close, the profiles of eligible candidates are shared with different ILO departments seeking interns. This means that internships can start on the 1st or 15th of any month throughout the year.
Candidates should note that only three applications per recruitment cycle are accepted. To maximise your chances, tailor your applications carefully to roles that align with your academic background and career goals.

Costs: Interns are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, visa, passport, and insurance costs. These expenses are not covered by the ILO.

Eligibility Restrictions: Close relatives of serving ILO staff cannot apply. Similarly, candidates who have already worked at the ILO or participated in its internship programme are ineligible.
