Skills
That Will Make You Stand Out
The terms of reference ask for more
than a degree. Employers reading your application will be looking for these
strengths:
- Communication:
excellent spoken and written skills, and the ability to present the
company’s mission and history clearly and confidently
- Organisation:
you manage your time well, prioritise, and can handle several tasks at
once
- People skills:
a professional attitude, strong interpersonal relationships and good
employee coaching
- Leadership:
you can encourage, mentor and lead a team
- Problem solving:
you stay creative when a challenge comes up
- Technical skills:
good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel),
database management, record keeping, and knowledge of Human Resources
Information Systems (HRIS)
- HR knowledge:
general knowledge of employment law and best practices. Specialised
training in compensation, organisational planning, employee relations,
safety, training and preventive labour relations is an advantage.
Tip: Mention these exact skills in your CV and cover letter, and
back each one with a real example from your past work. For instance, if you ran
an onboarding programme, say how many people you onboarded and what improved.
How
to Apply
- Put together one single PDF document containing:
- Your application (cover) letter
- Your CV
- Copies of your certificates
- Your identity card or passport
- Send it by email to urhg.recruitment@gmail.com
- Copy (cc) these two addresses: ceo.urhgholdings@gmail.com
and fm.urhg@gmail.com
- Write the position you are applying for in the email
subject line, for example: Application for Human Resources Officer.
- Send it on or before 26 October 2026.
Only shortlisted candidates will be
contacted.
Smart
Tips Before You Press “Send”
- Use one PDF only.
Multiple attachments are not what they asked for, and it is an easy way to
lose marks.
- Make sure the file is clear and readable. Blurry scans of certificates give a bad impression.
- Tailor your cover letter. Name the role and the company, and explain briefly why
you fit a health-care and university-linked business.
- Double-check the email addresses. One wrong letter means your application never arrives.
- Apply early.
Don’t wait for the last day, because internet or email problems happen at
the worst moments.

A
Note Before You Apply
Please read the official
announcement on the employer’s websites and confirm the details yourself,
including the deadline and email addresses, because they can change. This
article is for information only and is not an official statement from UR-HG
Ltd. I also noticed the signature date on one page of the announcement reads
2025 while the others read 2026, which looks like a typing error, so it’s
another reason to check the official source.
