HUYE, Rwanda: Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) Huye College has officially announced applications for a Short-Term Training Program in Industrial Metalworks in partnership with Rema Fertigungstechnik GmbH (REMA), a German company, and the Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) through the Invest for Jobs Project funded by GIZ Rwanda.
According to the announcement, the
program consists of four cohorts, with 25 trainees per cohort.
Each cohort will undergo two months of training at the college, followed
by one month of industrial attachment in a designated company.
Eligibility
Requirements
Interested applicants must submit:
Ø A motivation letter addressed to the Principal explaining
their interest in Industrial Metalworks.
Ø A copy of the National ID card.
Ø A copy of a TVET Certificate or Diploma in a related field
such as Manufacturing or Industrial Mechanics.
Ø An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Applicants are also required to
complete the application form available on the RP Huye College website and
submit all required documents via the provided email address.
Important
Information
Ø Only 25 Rwandan candidates aged between 18 and 35 years
will be selected for the first cohort.
Ø Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
Ø Training will be conducted from Monday to Friday during
working hours.
Ø Applications are open from Monday, June 8, 2026, to
Friday, June 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
RP Huye College encourages eligible
candidates interested in developing practical skills in Industrial Metalworks
to apply before the deadline. Successful applicants will gain hands-on training
and industrial exposure designed to strengthen their employability in Rwanda's
growing manufacturing sector.
