The Rwanda TVET Board has officially announced the Day 3 examination allocations for 1,484 shortlisted candidates applying for teaching and administrative positions in technical and vocational schools across Rwanda. The latest recruitment phase continues the government’s efforts to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) by hiring qualified professionals who will help improve skills-based education nationwide.

RTB Releases Day 3 Exam Allocations for 1,484 Shortlisted Teacher and Administrative Applicants

According to the released allocation list, candidates have been assigned to different examination centers across several districts, including Gicumbi and Karongi. The examinations are scheduled to take place on 20 May 2026 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Candidates Urged to Confirm Their Examination Centers

All shortlisted applicants are strongly encouraged to verify their examination centers, districts, and room allocations before the examination day to avoid any last-minute confusion. The Day 3 allocation list includes both teaching and administrative staff candidates from multiple technical disciplines and school management positions.

The released document contains allocations for positions such as:

  • Agriculture Teacher (A0 & A1)
  • Forestry Teacher
  • Food Processing Teacher

The allocation list shows that all examinations for Day 3 candidates will be conducted during the same morning session.

Important Requirements for Candidates on Exam Day

Applicants are advised to arrive at their assigned examination centers early enough to complete verification procedures before the exam begins. Officials emphasized that candidates who arrive late may face delays during entry procedures.

Candidates should bring the following items:

  • Original National ID card
  • Pens and pencils
  • Any required writing materials
  • Calculators for technical subjects where applicable

Authorities also reminded applicants that identification documents will be mandatory for access to examination rooms.

TVET Recruitment Supports Rwanda’s Skills Development Vision

The ongoing teacher recruitment exercise is part of Rwanda’s broader national strategy to improve competency-based education and produce a highly skilled workforce capable of supporting economic growth and industrial development.

Over the past few years, TVET institutions have become increasingly important in equipping young people with practical and market-oriented skills. The government continues to invest heavily in vocational education to address unemployment and promote entrepreneurship opportunities among the youth.

Education experts believe that recruiting competent teachers and administrators will help improve the quality of instruction in vocational schools while ensuring students gain industry-relevant knowledge and hands-on experience.

High Competition Reflects Growing Interest in TVET Careers

The recruitment process has attracted thousands of applicants from different districts across the country. The growing number of candidates demonstrates the increasing demand for employment opportunities within Rwanda’s expanding TVET sector.

Many applicants view TVET careers as an opportunity to contribute to national development while supporting practical education that directly connects students to labor market opportunities.

The Day 3 allocation follows the successful release of previous examination schedules for other shortlisted candidates earlier this week.

How to Access the Day 3 Allocation List

Candidates can check the complete Day 3 allocation document containing names, examination centers, positions, and districts through the official RTB recruitment announcement. The uploaded document includes detailed allocations for all shortlisted applicants.

Final Advice to Applicants

As the examination date approaches, shortlisted candidates are encouraged to prepare thoroughly, review subject content carefully, and follow all official examination instructions.

Success in this recruitment process could open the door to important career opportunities within Rwanda’s growing technical and vocational education system.

We wish all candidates the very best in their upcoming examinations.
