Core Duties

v  Coordinate community-based child and family support initiatives

v  Work with local leaders to promote Early Childhood Development (ECD), nutrition, and child protection

v  Strengthen parents’ and caregivers’ capacity for holistic child development

v  Organize and report on training for caregivers, Community Health Workers (CHWs), and Friends of Family (IZU)

v  Link families to ECD centers, health services, and social protection programs

v  Track nutrition and WASH indicators at household and facility levels

v  Support identification of safe family-based care (e.g., foster families)

v  Promote awareness of national child safeguarding policies

v  Supervise Friends of Family (IZU) in community activities

v  Strengthen community systems for long-term sustainability

v  Build partnerships with public and private stakeholders

v  Document program progress, challenges, and lessons learned

v  Develop case studies showcasing successful interventions

v  Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors
