City of Kigali Invites Participation in End-of-Year Decoration 2025

Kigali, October 7, 2025, The City of Kigali has officially announced a public call inviting all individuals, organizations, and institutions to take part in decorating Kigali during the upcoming 2025 festive season. This initiative aims to make the city even more vibrant and welcoming as residents prepare to celebrate the end of the year and the start of 2026.

Every year, Kigali continues to grow as one of Africa’s cleanest and most organized cities. The city’s leadership encourages community participation in beautification activities that showcase Rwanda’s culture of unity, creativity, and pride. This year’s call gives citizens, private companies, and institutions the chance to join hands in decorating Kigali in preparation for the year-end celebrations.

A Call to Beautify Kigali Together

The City of Kigali invites associations, private businesses, entrepreneurs, and interested groups to submit expressions of interest to participate in the city’s end-of-year decoration program. Those who wish to take part are encouraged to write to the City of Kigali, explaining how they would like to contribute to making the city shine during the festive season.

Applicants are requested to present written proposals indicating specific public spaces they plan to decorate, such as main road junctions, roundabouts, bus stops, and other open areas.
