MINEDUC has announced the results of the State Examinations for secondary schools for the year 2024/2025
The Ministry of Education (MINEDUC), through the National Agency for Examinations and Inspection of Schools (NESA), officially announced the scores of the State Examinations at the end of high school (A' Level) for the year 2024/2025 on September 1, 2025.
Kayonza District was the first success among students who completed the final exams of high school, and the Kamonyi District came after others.
- Kayonza: 96.9%
- Kirehe: 95.6%
- Rulindo: 94.9%
- Ngoma: 93.8%
- Nyamasheke: 93.6%
During the current school year, 106,418 students were enrolled, of whom 106,079 (99.7%) took the exams held from July 9 to 18, 2025. Of those, 105,997 worked, and 94,409 won, which is equivalent to an overall success rate of 89.1%.
In these tests, girls performed better than boys, where they had a pass rate of 93.5% compared to 85.5% for boys. The 18 highest performing students of all age groups (GE, TSS, and PE) were commended for their success.
In this ceremony, there was an event to reward some of the students who had succeeded others.
